Beltane Bonfire

This morning I was walking the dog out in the desert. We were a long way from anywhere, and the phone rang.

It was an old friend of mine calling from Holland. What a treat.

It rained a little last night, and it was cool this morning. The Creosote bushes were in bloom and they were beautiful.

Afterwards we went out and helped a friend out near Hueco tanks. He may think this is only burning trash. But I know better. Since tomorrow is May 1 this was a Beltane bonfire.
