Denied Health Insurance

I have leukemia, so all of the health insurance companies deny me coverage. This is not like denying that Barack Obama is a native born American Citizen, or denying that the holocaust happened, or denying that rising carbon dioxide levels are causing global warming.

If life were fair (ha, ha, joke) the U.S. Federal Government would see to it that anyone who is denied health insurance coverage in the free market due to their pre-existing health conditions would automatically be enrolled in medicare. Regardless of their age. No opt-out would be allowed.

They would be required to pay a premium, but this would be based upon their earnings.

This would be fair. This is what would happen in almost all civilized, modern democracies. But not in the good old United States of America. Our “American Way” tells the old geezer with leukemia, Fuck You. Just die you smelly old bastard, and quit bothering us with all this socialistic nonsense.

Making certain that our own people don't die needlessly just because of the profit motive among insurance carriers should be a far higher priority than killing, maiming, and warfare.
