President Obama visited the former Nazi concentration camp Buchenwald yesterday. While there Obama called Holocaust denial "baseless, ignorant, and hateful."

What with living in Europe almost 20 years, I have visited several of these old WWII Nazi sites. The first was at Dachau on the north side of Munich in 1972, when I was there to watch the summer Olympic Games. Then in later years I also visited sites where Jews were held and tortured in Cologne and Berlin.
Sometimes mankind can be so incredibly aggressive and cruel. It is almost impossible for me to imagine how civilized human beings could do things like this.
