This sounds like something one might have heard back during the cold war.

Right now there is a very hard cold spell going on in Europe, where I spent almost 20 years of my life. - A very nice part of my life I should add. I still have a number of close friends living there in Europe.

Howdy to Jean, Hein, Mad Dog, Axel, Henk, Theo and a great many others.

For the Russians to cut off the natural gas supplies to so many people right at this time is absolutely unforgivable!
