Happy birthday J.K. Rowling!
Joanne Rowling (who actually does not have a middle name) is an amazing writer and person. Her Harry Potter series has to be one of the greatest collections of books for children and adults ever written.
Twice I have eaten in the restaurant in Edinburg, Scotland which her brother owned, where she
wrote parts of the first Harry Potter book. I have also been to (the outside) or her house in the U.K. and have visited the castle in the north of England which was used in the filming of Hogwarts.
