Purple Passion Mine

North of Phoenix, Arizona USA near Wickenburg there is a little mine that is famous for its multi colored fluorescent rocks.

The mine is currently owned by Dick Shields. He charges a small fee to people who want to colllect there. It is well worth it.

This stone is beautiful to look at under shortwave UV light because it has calcite (red), fluorite (purple), and willemite (green).
