Cathedral of Guadalupe

-

Close walking distance to my house in Holland there was a church built in 1,000 AD on top of some much older Roman ruins.

-

And about a mile away there was another one built in 1,100 and about 6 or 7 miles away was Charlemagne's cathedral that he built in the year 800 AD.

-

Today in Juarez, Mexico less than a mile south of the border with America I visited the Cathedral of Guadalupe.

-

If you ignore the things built by the indigenous people of North America, it is one of the older buildings in North America having been built in 1598.
