For the last 6 weeks or so I've been involved in what has felt like an endless loop of the Dutch wooden shoe dance called the Bureaucratic Shuffle.

Today it was fully resolved.

The Dutch government has decided that it will be OK for me to remain here two more years. If I want to stay longer than that, then I just need to call them at that time.

I only intend to stay as long as it takes to sell my house but, What A Relief!
