Nuclear Power, Clean Coal, and Other Sources of Clean Energy

Republican Senator Lindsey Graham from South Carolina has urged an increase in both nuclear and clean coal as part of the nation's shift to renewable energy. Say what you looney tunes right-wing fanatic? What planet have you been living on you fat ass retard?

Clean Coal is a complete myth. Period. Maybe sometime in the future the Virgin Mary will come down and grant us some miracles...maybe then coal will become a clean source of energy. Until then it it just talk. Even if it were eventually implemented successfully, the price of electricity would go up so much that wind and solar would be seen as far more cost effective than coal.

Nuclear energy has the same problems that it had 30 years ago. It is only cost effective when the government takes our public tax dollars and subsidizes nuclear to the tune of at least 50% of the total cost. It is still dangerous, prone to attacks from terrorists, storage or disposal of nuclear waste which will remain dangerous for thousands of years has not been solved, and no one is addressing the cost of decommissioning these nuclear plants.

President Obama, are you this clueless too?
