Martin Luther King stood up for what he believed in. So did Gandhi.

Barack Obama is going back on more and more of what he campaigned on. He campaigned on stopping the wars and getting single payer health insurance implemented so that EVERYONE in America would be insured.

As it turns out one year later, this guy is just a typical Chicago politician. Very interested in fund raising. Less interested in disclosing what all that money is being used for. Willing to sell out his principles to the right wing at the smallest sign of conflict.

He has increased the troop levels fighting the wars, and he has not closed all of the secret jails. He did very little heavy lifting in the fight over universal health care.

Obama is a horrible disappointment. In many ways he just represents another side of the Tiger Woods phenomenon. Say anything, do anything to get rich, famous, and powerful. Fall on your sword or stand up for your principles? Get real.
