Child Trafficking in Haiti

After the recent horrible earth quake in Haiti a group of American religious fanatics and fundamentalists from Texas and Kansas which are called Baptists have been arrested in Haiti on suspicion of child kidnapping and trafficking.

I have known several Baptists over the years. My experience has been that the Baptists are indeed one of the sickest of the Christian fundamentalist sects. They don't allow their members to play cards or even to dance. Some of their daughters end up turning into compulsive sex addicts and closet sluts, all the while feeling the intense guilt brought on by their fundamentalist religious upbringing.

This group of Baptists had a web site encouraging people to make tax deductible contributions, so there have also been suggestions that they may have been operating some sort of a scam. These fundamentalist religious fanatics claim that they had only the best of intentions, but because they were operating outside of the system without the proper documents, and due to their religious fanaticism some Haitian authorities are unsure. At the moment the Baptists remain in the custody of the Haitian law enforcement personnel.
