The Global Financial Crisis

Nearly all of the prognostic indicators point towards the global financial crisis getting a good bit worse before it begins to turn around.

In 2008 we already almost matched the stock market decline in the Great Depression. Even with the cretin George Bush slinking away and Obama taking over the helm in America, there appear to be more tough times ahead.

I still forecast that this current “recession” will not begin to turn around during 2009.

The German magazine Der Spiegel published a chart showing the global market capitalization of all stock markets worldwide. Almost exactly one-half of all the wealth worldwide that was invested in corporate stocks has just gone poof and vanished.

This chart makes one realize just how big and how international this situation has become.
