Gasoline & Diesel Fuel Taxes

It is coming more and more out into the open. Out of the closet so to speak.

Now suddenly not only the wild-eyed, tree-hugging, environmentalist fringe, but normal rational politicians are seeing that as a country the USA must begin to gradually increase taxes on motor fuels.

And some of the revenue from these taxes needs to be used to subsidize the purchase price of extremely high fuel economy vehicles like the Toyota Prius. Some of the revenue also needs to help pay for wind turbines and various forms of real-life (not theoretical research grade) solar energy to electric projects. Both on large industrial scales and at the individual household level.
