Instead of watching the Republican convention I have been watching the Dirty Harry series of movies. I've got them all on DVD. They are so great!

This series of movies is where the just slightly incorrect myth originated in the popular culture that the .44 magnum is the strongest meanest handgun ever made. Just change that statement a little bit to, "the strongest meanest handgun made that is readily available" and it is accurate.

The good guy wins in the end. What thrillers.

Clint Eastwood and these movies are almost single handedly responsible for the sales of gazillions of .44 magnum revolvers. I own two of them.
