Music

-

My first wedding was in the park. A gentlemen who taught flute at the University made the music. In fact, of the 3 marriages, this was the only one with music. Even though it was in the park, it was the most formal and well planned too.

In ancient Greece and in the Roman Empire music was very popular. This is evidenced by the many depictions of musicians in mosaics, on pottery, statues, and on sarcophaguses.

Two of my more favorite musical groups are Jetho Tull and Carlos Nakai, both of which make liberal use of the flute. If you have ever eaten rolled tacos at Chicos Tacos you understand why in Spanish they are called flautas.
