Heerlen Mineral Show

There was a really nice mineral show today in the Corneliushaus hall near the Brunssem Heide in Heerlen, Holland.

A friend of mind had called me because he was exhibiting and had some nice fluorescent rocks. Boy he sure did. I got from him out of an old European collection some Wulffenite which came out of the famous Red Cloud mine in the Trigo mountains of La Paz, County Arizona. This is a red coloured ore of lead. It fluoresces in 3 different colors under shortwave UV and is really beautiful.

I also bought a fossilized Mammoth leg bone which came out of western Holland. I paid really great prices for both also!
